Yoko Lennon killer parole board proceedings. Yoko Ono pleads her case at parole hearing against Mark Chapman, the notorious John Lennon killer. Yoko Ono plans to fight Chapman's parole release for the 6th time.

Lennon is dead but Yoko Ono, his widow, continues to fight. She strongly opposes the release of Mark Chapman who murdered her husband. This will be her 6th attempt to block Mark David Chapman's release.

Killer Mark Chapman shot Lennon four times in the back and then remained at the scene until he was arrested by police. He pleaded guilty to the crime and was sentenced to a prison term of 20 years to life and remains incarcerated at Attica State Prison in New York.

Parole hearings are often long, but his situation is a bit different. His application for parole have been opposed by many people over the years, including Yoko Ono. John Lennon's widow sent a letter to the parole board opposing any consideration of releasing him from prison. She has repeatedly informed the parole board of her strong feelings against allowing Chapman to be paroled.

The heartfelt letter to the parole board that if Chapman was released from prison, it would "bring back the nightmare, the chaos and confusion once again. Myself and John's two sons would not feel safe for the rest of our lives." Mark David Chapman is kept segregated from many of the other prisoners. He cleans offices inside the prison and helps other inmates in the law library. He has had a clean record ever since some minor disturbances back in 1994.

The bastard better hope he gets rejected, I've heard for years that he was a dead man if he ever set foot outside of prison.

Oh, I don't doubt it. He won't last 10 seconds outside a jail - if that. Has he been in solitary all these years?

Let him rot. He may be sorry for his crime, but it won't bring John Lennon back. The rest of the world would eat him alive if he set foot out there.

He never showed any remorse in any of the footage I've seen. What makes me sickest about him is the picture of him earlier that day shaking hands with Sean Lennon - already plotting to kill his father. I hope he never, EVER sets foot outside a jail.
