Did such a "Maude" episode exist...
Years ago, when I was in the fifth grade (circa 1980), one of my classmates told me there was an episode wherein somebody played a practical joke on Maude. This person (I am not sure who it was...it may have been Walter) gave her a book. When Maude opened the book, she received an eletrical shock. I assume the book was an item from a novelty store. I can't remember if my friend indicated when he saw the episode (during the original CBS run of Maude, or if he caught the episode as a rerun).
Did such an episode exist? Did this event really take place? If so, what was the title of the episode, who gave her the book, and under what circumstances? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! Cheers! Sincerely, Steve B.
