Not bad. How about he play Dede's new [Canadian]husband who visits the family with the intent of helping DeDe show up Jay+Gloria but winds up being more attracted to Gloria than any of the others expected? Kelsey definitely could pull off chemistry with Shelley Long+ has enough acting chops to do a somewhat believable Quebequois accent. Now if Joaquin Delgado[Benjamin Bratt] joined them, things could could get quite interesting!
