Im getting confused with the complete seasons 1-7 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hi there,

I am a big fan of the golden girls and I would like to buy the complete seasons.
I was reading reviews on internet and I get a little bit scared about reviews who were negatives concerning the quality of the dvd (bad sound, image, etc)
I wanted to buy this one :

I also must say that I live in Uk and my mother tongue is french so it will be a bonus if there is french subtitles even though its not essential. English subtitles would be great as well.
The most important thing is that I want to be able to read the dvd on my PC.

Can anyone please help me to buy the good one complete seasons.

I would be very grateful if some people can reply to my message.

Stay away from that! That's a Bootleg release. The only official release is seasons 1 through 7 individual seasons, by Buena Vista. It hasn't been released as a complete series set, and season 8 (The Golden Palace) has yet to be released.

Thank you Markway895, I think I will buy them one by one (by Buena Vista) then cause I dont want somehing cheap who doesnt work.

Thanks marky from me, too! I have seen that boxed set from time to time and I have been tempted to buy it because the price has always been affordable than buying each single season. Thanks for the warning - I'll pass as well.

The thing is when you live in Europe, it's very difficult to get the seasons 5, 6 and 7 in Zone 2!

I may be wrong about that boxed set. I know thats not available to us in the US (Region 1), but it may be a different case for Europe. Is that a Buena Vista product? Is it available on AmazonUK?

I just know that here in North America, they market alot of "bootleg" dvd sets, usually recorded off television. But again, it might be different over there!
