Today's WGN episode - "If They'd Never Met" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Was a very unusual episode from the Dick York as Darrin years,because it was more drama than comedy.And the ending was good,and showed that Darrin REALLY loved Samantha,when Samantha zapped herself out of the bar towards the end,after happily learning that Darrin WOULDN'T have been happier if they'd never met(he ,in the romantic scene at the end,admitted this,after saying he'd be happier if they'd never met,but then again...)and totally befuddled the bartender.My score:7.5.good

One of my all-time fave Bewitched episodes - with EM & DY playing what they did best together - romance.

^Yes, a rare color episode that captured what was best early on with the show--sophisticated romantic comedy, not slapsticky spells overused.
one of my faves--we have Shelia (ooo la la), a return appearance by Dave, and the bartender. We also actually get to see Sam and Endora fly the corridors of time.

...Samantha was ever seen "flying" was in the second season episode, "The Catnapper". Look, I believe Sam rides a broomstick on occasion [even though I've never seen her DO that during an episode]...but "making like Superman"?

Of course, you could build a story around a little girl who accidentally sees her gliding above the neighborhood [in an emergency] while in her flight suit, and believes she's a "super heroine". And naturally, Samantha has to help solve the dilemma of the little girl seeing her by helping her out with her personal problem {parents fighting or disbelief in whatever the child claims to see, or her friends don't believe she saw a "Super Woman", or the kid's in trouble with a "sinister element", etc.} while "pretending" to have "super abilities". Oh yes, did I mention the little girl also happens to be the daughter/niece/relative of one of Darrin's latest clients?

She rode her broom in the Christmas episodes from Seasons 1 & 4 as well.

while we may not "see" it, every time Sam, Endora, Clara, etc etc....pop out...they are actually flying to the location they are heading. It happens so fast to mortal eyes, that it looks like an instant.
