Confused I wonder what the late Mark Goodson

Who was one of the brains behind "The Price is Right"and "Family Feud"would have thought about Fremantle lousing up his classic game shows, and what they're going to do with "The Price is Right"(I don't think if he were alive,Goodson would have objected to CBS hiring Drew Carey to replace Bob Barker(who,I've heard thought CBS made a good choice),butFremantle letting go of announcer Rich Fields(and replacing him, with,of all people,an improv comic),and hiring a new executive producer and producer is another matter.Goodson probably would NOT approve of it.As for "Family Feud",Goodson ,if he were still alive, probably would not approve of them(Fremantle) moving "Family Feud"to Florida from L.A.to Orlando. And hiring Steve Harvey as the new host,to replace John 0'Hurley(who was a darn good host). But,who knows?Obviously,as has been said before,Fremantle has NOT learned "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Oh No

I imagine that Mr. Goodson is at this very moment rolling over in his grave.

Why did Mark Goodson have to sell out instead of just say "no"?

I think that Mark Goodson wouldn't have considered Drew Carey as host, since he felt that he wasn't the right person to handle that type of show. One person he could have considered but unfortunately he's also deceased is former Wonderama host Bob McAllister. His experience with audience participation shows and the ability to learn the rules to a large number of games would be a plus. As for other candidates, he would have considered Todd Newton, Geoff Edwards or John O'Hurley.

On the other changes, he would have given a resounding no.
