Jersey Shore starlet Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has been arrested in Seaside Heights, N.J., police sources tell NBC Philadelphia.

Snooki was arrested for disorderly conduct in the Ocean County town, officials said.

News of Snooki's arrest comes just a day after the Jersey Shore crew started filming Season 3 of the popular MTV series.

Details of what led to the arrest of the reality TV star are currently unclear.

Details still emerging.

These idiots are about a half hour from Pt. Pleasant, where my parents and a lot of my relatives live.

And, I didn't even realize this, Jerseylicious is filmed about 10 minutes from my house.

Surrounded by people making Jersey look bad.
