Default The 20 Hollywood Strongest High profile marriages that will never end-last forever

I found this list of The Top 20 Strongest High Profile Hollywood Marriages that will never end in divorce. There are some good Couples on here.

http://www.divorcesaloon.com/the-20-...end-in-divorce

The 20 strongest high profile marriages that will never end in divorce

We compiled a list of 20 couples who we think will stay married forever. In fact, if they ever announced they are getting divorced, we pretty much will have a cow. These couples are listed in no particular order, and are as follows:

1. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith-Will and Jada seem pretty solid. He has already said that they will divorce only if he is dead. We think he means it.

2. Denzel Washington and Pauletta Pearson Washington- Denzel Washington clearly respects and adulates Pauletta. She is not ugly but she is not the flashiest, prettiest woman in the entire world either. He could have dumped her ages ago and picked up with a Swedish blond but he didn’t. We think there is genuine love here and this marriage is solid.

3. Barack and Michelle Obama- What more needs to be said about these two? President Barack Obama exalts Michelle. He makes people respect her just by the way he clearly puts her first. She knows she’s bagged him. You can totally tell. They are way solid.

4. Bill and Camille Cosby – The way Bill refers to his wife as “Mrs. Cosby” is so cute. There is a comfort zone there that is palpable. He’s not going anywhere. Oh, he may cheat now and then but he’s not ever going to divorce this woman.

5. Colin Powell and Alma Powell- Colin seems much too straight-laced to ever divorce his wife. Granted, they seem awfully boring. But that may be a good thing. Too much excitement and next thing you know, he’s Tiger.

6. Bill and Hillary Clinton - This marriage has been tested and retested. It’s like this really unique and expensive car that keeps getting tested by putting it through forcible car wrecks. But it still emerges unscathed. This marriage is forever.

7. Diane Sawyer and Mike Nichols – There just is no drama here that anybody knows of. Plus, Diane has not wrinkled even though she’s in her sixties. They will stand the test of time. (Unless he gets jealous about her career and has a midlife crisis)

8. Sting and Trudy Styler – Sting has a divorce in his past, but they seem really settled with the kids and he’s getting old so what more could he possible divorce her to find? We think he’s staying put for the long haul.

9. Tom Cruise and Kathie Holmes – Katie and Tom have been put through the wringer since he jumped on that couch. In a weird way, they will likely stay married because of that, rather than in spite of that. They are chained to each other to prove that that couch dance wasn’t fake.

10. Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham(common law) First of all, Stedman knows which side his bread is buttered. Nah, just kidding….they have been together a while (there are these rumors that they are no longer together but I don’t believe it) and he clearly is not with her for the money. He stayed with her through thick and then over the years and has proven his devotion and commitment. Why don’t they just make it official already?

11. George and Laura Bush – They are solid.

12. George and Barbara Bush – They are solid.

13. Eliot Spitzer and Silda Ward- If Silda stayed with Mr. Spitzer after the Client 8 debacle, she will stay through anything. They have been tested. They are committed.

14. Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles – What more needs to be said here?

15. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh - They are friends. That is why this one probably worked out so well.

16. Jeffrey Katzenberg and Marilyn Siegel - Jeffrey loves Marilyn. Fullstop.

17. Jay Leno and Mavis Elizabeth Nicholson Leno - Jay loves Mavis. Fullstop.

18. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell (common law) – Maybe these two would have divorced if they had ever officially married. Maybe not. But the bottom line is, they have been together longer than most people in Hollywood who made it official. They will grow old with each other. Guaranteed.

19. Bill and Melinda Gates - Billionaires with self-respect usually stay married to the same spouse for the long haul. Bill and Melinda seem to know what marriage and commitment is all about. They are going to stay together forever.

20. Regis and Joy Philbin- They laugh and giggle too much together not to be genuinely happy with each other. Sure, you can’t imagine them getting busy, but still. They are in this thing till they draw their last breath. Besides, Regis is probably too Catholic to do otherwise

You know Goldie once said that if her and Kurt had married they'd probably have divorced already, just something about being together but not married makes the relationship different

I don't think John Travolta is leaving Kelly Preston either. I think they've been through too much to do that to themselves.

Julie Andrews and Blake Edwards. No way would they ever split up. I also think Twiggy and Leigh Lawson are going to be together forever, as are Jamie Lee Curtis and Christopher Guest.

And to give credit where credit is due, I'd be very surprised to hear of Annette Benning and Warren Beatty splitting up.

---

While we're at it, how about some Hollywood marriages that DID make it? The ones that truly lasted till death did they part:

Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward
Hume Cronyn & Jessica Tandy
Mel Brooks & Anne Bancroft
Vincent Price & Coral Browne
Steve Allen & Jayne Meadows
