Reason I Thought The DVD Release Would Be Horrible

I thought the set was going to be bad because the were giving sets away in a contest but that is how I ended up with the set. I was thinking why would the give away a nice set for free in a contest but I was wrong the day the set came to me and the quality and sound was awesome plus the eps uncut was a true gift. To think that a low buget little company in Canada can produce a high quality unedited set is mind blowing. We hardly ever get this with the biggest dvd companies we have down here in America. Shout Factory is bigger than VEI and the produced a horrible Punky Brewster series with skips and picture shifts and fuzz but they did make a comeback with The Facts of Life season 4 but to think with the money they make to produce such an abomination. Sony or Shout or Universal Home Entertainment took a true loss in not continuing this set of releases because Gimme a Break is one of the hottest items selling on Amazon.ca. I will never doubt VEI again. I was not going to buy it but hey a free shot at it is what gave me the reason to get the set. Lets try to get VEI to release other shows that got discontinued! Or we can try Shout Factory to get these dvds out because they got season 4 of Facts out and season 5 is on the way so chances are we will complete Facts by 2012.

VEI might end up going back later and releasing Gimme A Break by season but for now they might have needed to get it out of the way to move onto other things. Ally Mcbeal was released as a series and later released by season so all GAB fans who did not buy the series might get a shot at buying by season but why wait when you can get it cheaper as a complete set.
