William Shatner Is Not Fan Of His Show's Title
William Shatner, star of CBS' new comedy $#*! My Dad Says, defended the show's original title, Sh*t My Dad Says, after the Twitter account it's based on. "I wish they'd call it sh*t," Shatner said at the show's TCA panel. "The word sh*t isn’t a terrible term, it’s a natural function. Why are we *****-footing?" The 79-year-old actor, who confessed he has a young guy help him with his own tweeting, had a lot of fun going through variations of the name of the service and its messages. "Twitter? Tweet? I know it isn't a Twat," he quipped. As for the show, producers said every episode will open with a Tweet which will be used by Shatner's character at some point during the episode.
