A lot of "Complete Series" out this week - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Seems to be the latest trend in releasing shows. Hopefully, it becomes an even bigger trend. It's wonderful to be able to buy shows in completion from the beginning without waiting for additional seasons.

Getting the "Complete Series" of Gimme a Break last week definitely made a difference in sales for VEI. It's still a big seller today.

Here are some shows I would love to see get the Complete Series treatment:

Hazel
What's Happening Now!!
It's A Living
Private Benjamin
Mama's Family
Babes
9 to 5

The Mothers-in-Law Complete series (2 Seasons) comes out tomorrow.

Shout! Factory just released Leave It to Beaver (6 Seasons) as a complete series.

Time-Life is releasing The Six-Million-Dollar-Man as a complete series, this year.

I hope this IS a new trend, and more shows that haven't been released or are stalled, see the light of day.

I would love to see Shout! Factory release Silver Spoons The Complete Series and Love Sidney The Complete Series.

The Bionic Woman is also being released as a complete series later this year.

I think complete series are the way to go, unless a show has 8 seasons or more(like L&O series)

I only have The Cosby Show Complete Series Box Collection, I bought it last week and I still have not opened it yet.
