Which UM case or cases upset or disgusted you the most?

This thread may have been posted earlier.(Sorry If It Has) But I think this is an interesting topic and am very interested hearing what everyones personal opinions are.

Two that immediately come to my mind are

1. Kenneth Robert Stanton
This entire case was extremely disturbing,but the two parts that really upset me are when he basically manipulates the young girl in the segment into believing he is a milk inspector,of all things. Also,the girl's screams as the clip cut to a shot of the road were very disturbing.

2.David Harry Fisher
Again,the fact that this guy used Laura Burbank's love of animals to befriend and manipulate her into trusting him was absolutely disgusting.

These two cases are my personal picks and have always outraged me because of the fact that one of my female cousins was raped at a very young age.

Most crime is disturbing and senseless, but some are heinously distinguished.

I think finally finding out what happened to Lisa Marie Kimmel was really bad. The UM segment itself was disturbing enough, considering the known circumstances of her death at the time, but the rest of the story is something no one should ever have to endure. Thank God that man went to jail.

The Oba Chandler triple homicide in Florida is another one. Terrible, frightening. Thank God he's in jail, too.

Oba Chandler: I have 3 daughters, the thought of what Chandler did to the Mom and two daughters make me sick. I have read and studied true crime for most of my life and I cant think of a worse crime then this one

Brad Bishop- He killed his family(3 sons, wife and mother) because he got passed over for a promotion.

Pretty much any one where children were the victims

I don't remember the guy's name or the case well but its the guy who killed his sick son and his female friend. Apparently the guy liked the girl and was trying to have a relationship but she didn't want to and yet she still was a good enough friend to take him to his dad house for dinner and after the son ask for help for his medical condition, the human excrements murders him and his friend. I always thought that has to be the worst thing ever for the poor kid. Not only does your father murder you, which should be the worst thing ever, but to make it worse, he ends up murdering your own crush, who only was there indirectly because of you. One of the worst things posible.

I agree with these, especially David Fisher. In 1970 people probably weren't nearly as worried about pedophiles (or crime in general), so Laura most likely just assumed he was a good natured guy trying to do her a favor and be a "big brother type friend". Sickos like him make almost any good samaritan look potentially bad, and if it weren't for that one trip to the pet store Laura would've been alive today.

It's just as upsetting they transferred Fisher to a minimum security prison just 4 years later (it should be no surprise he escaped!). You'd think prison officials more than anyone else, would know not to give these types time off for "good behavior". Pedos and murderers almost always never change their ways too.

P.S. Didn't the actor playing him look even creepier than the real guy at the time? He was supposed to be 29 but easily looked 40 with the receeding hairline and just diabolical cold look to him.

Patrick Kelly. I can't believe the gall of the assistant DA of Tijuana. Suggesting that Patrick gave his ATM card to a friend in Tijuana with his pin number...really? And the "friend" never showed his face again? Pure BS. It irritates me that they stonewall his poor mother like that.

There have been so many abominable, disgusting crimes profiled on UM over the years. Almost every crime is heinous to some degree but I think murder and sex crimes are the worst by far. A few off the top of my head, no particular order...

Boston Shopping Mall Rapist - what he did to these women was deplorable and to think that one of the rapes occurred on Christmas Eve.

Memorial Day rape of the mother "Teressa" in front of her young son who was forced to watch.

Bike Path Rapist - his crimes escalated to murder.

David Leigh McLeod - pedophile with money who targeted kids in lower socioeconomic areas.

Reggie DiPalma and Charles Mulet - abused their position and good standing in the community as a firefighter and a detective respectively to molest young girls. I think Mulet gets "dishonorable mention" as one of his victims was a girl whom he was counseling because she had been sexually abused. Pathetic.

Edward Harold Bell - exposed himself to children then gunned down Good Samaritan Larry Dickens in front of his mother when Dickens tried to intervene.

The two teenage boy who went on a killing spree in Texas - these crimes were so heinous and unnecessary. They tortured their elderly victims for hours before killing them.

1. The Mabel Woods Dog Kennel fire

2. Joe and June Maloney (I can't stand men who abuse and kill their wives)

3. The five Jordan children burned to death in that fire in Dallas, all because some scumbag wanted his dope money. Thank God the guy they believe was mostly responsible is dead. But his accomplice unfortunately was snever brought to trial for lack of evidence.

4. Jill and Julie Hansen. How do people bear that kind of hurt? losing two daughters and finding out your son was probably responsible. All for insurance money supposedly, if indeed it was Donnie Hansen who did it.

5. Jay Cook and Tanya Van Cuylenborg.

6. William Bradford Bishop

7. Boston Mall Rapist

8. Larry and Debbie Race: Although I was sure for a long time Larry killed her, Not sure he did it now.

9. Rae Ann Mosser: I can't really explain this one, something about the way the boyfriend's family described it how she said "What do I have to do to prove my love to you kill myself?" Something so Days of Our Lives and fake about that. Could never shake the feeling something rotten happened there and someone got away with it. Especially after they proved it was impossible for Rae Ann to do it like they thought. Shoddy and lazy police investigations that like to write something off as suicide always irritate me don't know about anyone else.

10. Cindy James: See above. Just can't imagine how she could have done that to herself.

That segment was the first to make me cry. The part where she says she promised the dogs she would take care of them is so, so heartbreaking. All she ever did was open her home, property, and heart to helpless creatures.

I knew I was missing one from my own list, and this is it. The entire lack of regard for human life is deplorable, disgusting, and most morally offensive. It's hard to believe that human beings can become so depraved.

Rachel Timmerman/Shannon Verharge --- Marvin Gabrion not only rapes Timmerman (with his buddies sitting in the car waiting ), he then recruits another guy into setting her and her daughter up to be murdered by him. Too bad he's not been killed in prison.

East Area Rapist/ONS for the torment he put his victims through.

The list is long; UM, if anything, showcased how brutal and sociopathic some individuals choose to be.

The horrific and almost unspeakable act commited by the couple who delivered a child and then dashed its brains out against a rock, witnessed by the fisherman(I think) by the lake.

The barbarity and savage inhumanity required inc ommiting ANY crime against a newborn is beyond my grasp but this one, for me, is the most disgusting crime ever profiled on UM.

The poor witness must have nightmares to this day. To witness that atrocity and to be powerless to stop it? I mean really...what would you do? What could you do?? I imagine I'd scream "NO!! NO!! Please just leave the baby...I'll take it, you just leave!! YOu don't have to hurt her!!" But in all reality, I imagine by the time you realized what was going to happen it would be too late.

A few that come to mind for me are:

Leroy Dreith. This was the one where, back in the late 60s, the white guy was dating the Latino girl and the girl's family didn't approve of that, so one of the family members took a knife and slashed Leroy's throat just as he was leaving a barbecue at the girlfriend's house. It's even more infuriating to me that, years later, Leroy's sister tracked the girl down, but she refused to be of any help at all.

Jim Burnside. Normally, I try not to wish death upon anybody, but this is one horrific monster of a man who deserves the absolute worst in that respect. I'm still always haunted by that scene where his little girl says "you wouldn't hurt me, would you daddy?" and he replies "oh yes I would."

Malaika Griffin. What a sick and twisted woman. For those who may not remember, she was the woman from Denver who ruined a young couple's dreams of building a future together by murdering the husband because she was angered by such inane things like his dog barking or him taking her favorite parking spot.

Marianne Malky. She was the mother who spent 38 years tracking down her kidnapped son and eventually found him alive and well, only to discover that he had been brought up to have hatred towards her and refused to contact her, and although the father certainly bears much responsibility here, I feel no sympathy for the son, because 38 years is a very long time to hold an ill-founded grudge against someone. He should've been more understanding.

Michael Self. This guy languished in prison for years (and eventually died there), serving time for a crime that was almost certainly NOT guilty of, and the way those corrupt cops handling the case at the time tormented him (and tricked him during that "trip out for a hamburger") makes me want to grab them and toss them over a cliff.

Sherry Hart. While I'm on the subject of people going over cliffs, she was the young single mother who was heinously and deliberately thrown off of a cliff after she rejected her date's sexual advances. How somebody can have the audacity to throw someone off of a cliff (and be cold blooded enough to utter the words "bye bye" as he's doing it) is so beyond me.

Elaine Parent (aka "Alice"). This was the lady with the fake British accent who, along with her equally weird cross-dressing accomplice, mutilated a woman in Florida in a botched scam in which she only managed to steal about $1000. I thought the update to the story was pretty eerie too. She was tracked down by authorities 12 years later. She was dressed in her pajamas at the time they came calling and said that she would surrender but asked if she could get changed first, but instead of changing, she committed suicide on the spot.

Bill Day. The father who spent 15 years searching for his abducted son and getting stonewalled repeatedly by his deviously clever ex-wife, only to finally learn that he had died of leukemia.

The Blind River Rest Stop Killer. I know that this one's been discussed enough that I don't need to explain it, but the horror of what the victims must have felt while it was all happening is something I can't even begin to comprehend.

Sandra Anderson. Another person who can best be described as having several screws loose. She was the lady who was at first admired for using her dog to sniff out human remains, but was eventually (and understandibly) vilified when it was discovered that she herself had actually planted some of the so-called "evidence," and a nagging question that makes it even scarier to think of what she might be capable is: how and where did she even manage to obtain these human remains in the first place?

Is this the one where they did good-cop bad-cop, and bad-cop closed the blinds, and started stacking up bullets on the table, one-by-one? If so, that case made me want to beat the <crap> out of somebody as well.
