I also enjoyed his work on Search For Tomorrow, which I've seen various clips of on the internet. He played a Southern bad boy with gambling and drinking problems. He starred on SFT from 1978-84, from there he moved to the West Coast and began playing Victor Kiriakis the next year. Plus, of course, he is best known as the dad of some actress named Jennifer.
