Can anyone remember the opening or maybe it's the closing where Karate says "and Karate" during the credits? Or is it just me.

...the first was for a "half-hour version" of the series, with a theme and vocal, and "Karate" emphasizing his name as the theme ends. The individual cartoons seen in that format featured no opening and closing credits.
The second opening was in each five minute cartoon, primarily for those stations that presented "BATFINK" with other cartoons, either featuring a live host or a "Cartoon Carnival" format. This featured an instrumental theme, with Batfink and Karate busting down a door, and offscreen "bad guys" try to shoot Batfink, deflecting the bullets with his "wings of steel", spelling out his name on a wall, leading into the opening credits. A brief closing title spelled out "THE END" in bullets on the same wall...

Thanks for the info TV Knowledge Fan. I didn't think I imagined it. It's a pity they weren't released on DVD with the first theme as a bonus or something.
