Red face Lisa Turtle Chosen As #1 Crush from TV history Who Didn’t Deserve to be Crushed On

How Screech could spend every single school day hanging out with Kelly Kapowski and still choose Lisa as the one he would spend every minute obsessing over completely blows my mind. Lisa wasn’t a bad looking girl, but standing between Kelly and the insanely leggy Jessie, she easily dropped to a two. And since she was pretty much always standing between Kelly and Jessie, she was pretty much always a two. After many years of chasing Lisa with no success, Screech eventually moved on to acting in home videos where he performed the “Dirty Sanchez” on a girl who was even less attractive. Not the greatest resumé there, buddy

Cool

First of all Lisa was never a 2! She was very pretty. Second Kelly was Zach's girl and as Zach's best friend and sidekick Screech would never go after her. And as for the "leggy" Jessie she had an on again off again thing going on with A.C. Slater. so again friendship would prevent Screech from making a move in that direction. So that left Lisa as the one girl he could desire with no strings attatched.

I personally never thought of Lisa as a very likeable character, but that could be just me.

Lisa was not very likeable. She was a snob, was self centered, and was mean to Screech. She was very pretty on the outside but quite ugly on the inside.

I think Lisa had likeable qualities to characters other than Screech, but she could be quite awful to him.

For that matter, I didn't really think any of the kids on SBTB were that likeable, with the exception of Kelly. Tori was OK, too.

So true. They all had faults that made them hard to like.

I find that Zack is a very likeable character. Kelly, too. The others have their moments on both sides though.

Ever pay attention to the way Zach treats Screech? That's a very unlikeable side of Zach in my opinion!

Lisa was obnoxious!!!!

of course in real life, Dustin turned out to be the most obnoxious of them all.

I posted this recently in another thread, but did anyone else notice how dramatically Lisa's character changed in the final two seasons? She went from being largely sweet and easy to get along with (other than with Screech) to being mean, loud and sarcastic. I noticed it back when the show aired originally, and that's what made it nearly impossible for me to like her.

I remember this one time in 9th grade when my history teacher said that Screech always chasing after Lisa was supposed to represent how the white man is always after what the black man has. I remember thinking to myself, "Dude, you're seriously reading too much into this show!"

I second all of this. When Screech said that Lisa's video year book entry was shallow, I agreed.

God bless you always!!!
