Different Credit Scene in Season3 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Just getting to the end of Rhoda season3,great job by Shout,I have to say.

I do remember a slighly different scene in the opening credits when the scene

with Brenda doing an impatient little dance in Rhoda's kitchen was replaced

with Rhoda and Brenda dancing togethor from the singles weekend in season3.

Anyone else remember this?

(Sure I have it on vhs somewhere)

I know the 'impatient dance' was shown throughout the run on ALN.

Thanks for that I must dig out the tape with that one it,very rare now,maybe

that opening was for UK cable screenings only.

The scene was taken from the ep which Rhoda said Joe had spent the night and was in her bathroom showering. Brenda got excited - thinking they reunited - and danced this little jig. She's telling Rhoda this is great news - and that she should be excited, and they should be dancing. Rhoda told her they were not reuniting.

Thats right,glad Shout included those few episodes with the brassier theme tune too.

I finally found the cable episodes of season3 with the slightly different credits opening.
Brenda's impatient dance is till there but there is indeed in some of the UK Gold screenings from the 90s of Rhoda season3,Rhoda and Brenda dancing from the singles weekend in the opening credits.

Hi,the scene of Rhoda and Brenda dancing togethor in the alternate season3 opening credits replaces the scene of Rhoda trying a hat on with the suit outfit she tries on,in season3.
