Default TVLand vs. Hallmark

TVLand leaves a lot to be desired:Very few classics, end credits scrunched(why did they do this, anyway?),lousy new programming(EXCEPT for "Hot in Cleveland"),and it has become a "dumping ground"(this came from the 1980's hospital series "St.Elsewhere")for Nick-at-Nite shows .Hallmark is sorta better. Some classics,no new programming, end credits not scrunched like TVLand does.Any comments?Feel free to post.

Angry Another Vote For the Hallmark Channel

They have a good selection of classics and modern shows. It is enjoyable to watch Little House, Mash and Lucy and Who's the Boss. Another thing I have against Tvland now is their website. I like Hot in Clevland.I didn't think I would I am not a fan of Sex and the City or shows like that. But I like all the actors on the show. And the guest stars are good too. But I hate Extreme Homeredo or whatever and all the reality shows that they have and movies on a channel called TVLAND. Hello!!!! I also like WGN in the morning with Matlock, In the Heat of the Night, the Beverly Hillbillies, Jeannie and Bewitched. And Becker and Cheers. And Barney Miller. Tvland has all the same junk that Nick at Nite does. Why don't they just be one channel. Anyway-Go Hallmark Channel Go. They have quality shows. The way Tvland broadcasts their shows is horrible. Every time I turn it on there is a commercial. UGH!!! I love watching dvds for that very reason.

I definitely prefer Hallmark Channel over TV Land. I watch The Golden Girls, I Love Lucy, and Cheers mainly. I just think it has a better feel than TV Land. I can't really explain it. I also like WGN for Bewitched, especially now that it's leaving TV Land The only shows I really watch on TV Land now are All in the Family, The Cosby Show, and Hot in Cleveland.
