I do like the schedule, however I was hoping TV Land would bring back some classics that have been gone for a while and air them in the morning/afternoon (i.e. The Beverly Hillbillies and Leave it to Beaver). Even airing Bewitched in the morning in addition to 5 PM would have been nice.

I still don't like the treatment Home Improvement is getting. Can't they put it on The-N (oh, Teenick, I mean)? Because it's no longer on N@N and only at like 3AM on TV Land so it's pretty useless right now. Until recently, I had totally forgotten that My Wife & Kids was coming to N@N (yuckkk). Hopefully it's leaving ABC Family, but I don't think that was the case. Anyways, seems like Family Matters will be getting the boot come fall, doesn't it? Unless Nanny leaves, then maybe they could still have some room for it. Any word on what's going on with That 70s Show and Friends with respect to these two channels? |

I doubt Family Matters will be leaving Nick at Nite completely. I'm sure it will at least air in late night. I'd rather see Malcolm get the boot at 11 and have My Wife and Kids air at 11 and 2. That way Family Matters could still air at 8, which I think is a great transition between Nick and Nick at Nite. On a side note, I'm kind of surprised Family Matters hasn't started airing on TeenNick. It seems like it would be the perfect fit.

I agree that TV Land is slowly starting to improve. IMO, the channel began to decline with the arrival of PRIME, constant movies, and the annoying off-the-clock programming (BTW, does anyone know why TV Land does this and when/if it will end?). Oh, and don't get me started on the added commercial breaks and the fact they are further reducing the run times of their shows; they used to cut shows down to 22 minutes, now they're barely 21. What gives? I clocked an episode of Bewitched at 20:35, and the master run time for that episode was almost 25:30. I know TV Land cuts down shows for syndication, but they might as well air minisodes.
I think TV Land needs to renew their licenses for some shows they used to air, like Maude, I Dream of Jeannie, The Donna Reed Show, and even acquire shows like Mama's Family, Mary Tyler Moore, or even Too Close for Comfort. Just my two cents. |

I too find it irritating that Home Improvement doesn't get much exposure. How about airing it 7-8pm (leading in to The Nanny) and push what's airing from 5-8pm back an hour to 4-7 (removing the 3rd Andy Griffith hour)? I really, really think it would fit better now with the other 90s sitcoms.
I don't think Home Improvement would be that great on The N/Teennick...it's probably difficult for a lot of their audience to relate to. I think Friends will come directly to TV Land. |

Yeah, Home Improvement is definitely getting the shaft from TV Land. It must've not done too well for them to relegate it to 2:30-3:30 in the morning. I know that it runs on TBS, but they only run it from 11:30am-12:30pm. The show is certainly more family friendly than a lot of what is on the networks today.

I don't think Home Improvement can air in earlier hours on TV Land because of TBS. They probably can't air before 7 or 8pm on weekdays.

I still think they should have put Home Improvement at 11pm, leading out of Raymond. Didn't HI do better on N@N at 12am than 9pm generally?
