Comic-Con Animation Highlights: "Family Guy"
by Laura Prudom posted Jul 24th 2010 -- Fans were shown the first nine minutes from the upcoming "Family Guy: Star Wars" threequel "It's a Trap", which is set for release on DVD/Bluray Dec. 21. Seth Macfarlane said that no further Star Wars specials were planned after the release of this Return of the Jedi spoof. Both because it's too pricey and almost killed them this time around, and because, as Alex Borstein pointed out "Episodes 1-3 SUCKED." -- Upcoming plots involve Stewie venturing to the North Pole to try and kill Santa Claus, Mayor West joining the Griffin family when he marries Lois' sister, Brian writing a self-help book and "becoming an enormous douche," and Lois will do a porno, which we will apparently see a little too much of ... -- Meg will also reportedly get the opportunity to release all of her pent up aggression and frustration on her mocking family, at the same time as Brian is tripping out on magic mushrooms. -- The hour long premiere will be called 'Clue' and will play out like a classic Agatha Christie whodunnit. Many main characters will die! -- There's an hour long Christmas special that will feature three musical numbers, and an episode in which Peter goes to AA, which will also have a song. -- There may also be a Meg/Joe moment in an upcoming episode. Patrick Warburton teased that it gets "intimate." http://www.tvsquad.com/2010/07/24/co...leveland-show/ |
