Who would you cast in a Facts of Life remake? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I don't know who I'd cast as the girls, mainly because I don't know enough about the young up and coming actresses out there. But, I'd like to see at least some of the original cast return. For instance, Tootie could play Eastland's drama teacher, Blair could play the Mrs. Garret role (similar to where the last episodes of season 9 were leading), Jo could be the school psychologist, and Natalie could be the editor of Peeksgill's newspaper or something. I don't know how realistic that sounds, but I just really think this show needs to be brought back. It had such a great message and was just great show!

AMY POEHLER: Beverly Ann Stickle

JOEY LUFTMAN: Andy Moffett

LIV HUTCHINGS: Pippa McKenna

PENN BADGLEY: George Burnette

JON CRYER: Mr. Bradley

NIKKI COX: Miss Mahoney (remember, she's 32-ooh years old)

If they were to do a remake of either "Shoplifting" or "Green Eyed Monster" who do people think would have been good as either of the one-time characters that Hazel Shermet played? Perhaps Blythe Danner or Cynthia Harris? They both do almost as good a good of making me drool now as Hazel did her her day!
