Hi! I was hoping somebody could help me identify this segment that I saw a long time ago. I don't have many details, unfortunately, but for some reason this episode always stuck with me since I remember it being pretty interesting.
I saw the segment on lifetime during the summer of 2005. It was an old episode--probably from the eighties or maybe early nineties. It was about a guy who was probably 18-22 (I want to say he was more 18/19, but I can't be positive) who was described as extremely popular and well liked. I am pretty sure he was blonde. I also want to say this took place in the northwest, but I can't be certain. All I remember about the crime (it was either a murder or missing person) was that it involved a group of guys and something to do with a warehouse (this could have been a theory of the crime, though). I remember it did not have an update that was shown in 2005. Sorry I have vague details, but I'd appreciate any help! Thank you!!

Hmm well I'll take a stab in the dark on this one. It may be the Chad Mauer one. He was a blond, popular teenager from Wisconsin. He was working at a bike shop and was saving money to move I believe out West somewhere. He was found dead in his car in a garage on the south side of Chicago. He had died of carbon monoxide poisoning but there were strange circumstances that pointed toward foul play. I think there was an update that mentioned that people had called in and theorized that perhaps Chad was involved in some sort of a drug deal. I believe some of the people that lived near Chad in an apartment were from the south side of Chicago.
