Thought Tonight's episode

Wasn't as good as the previous episodes. It was ,compared to the others, kind of a letdown.Oh sure, there WERE some funny parts, but not many. After all, every series has episodes that don't hit the mark every time.My ranking-6/10 fair. What did you think of tonight's episode?Feel free to post.

Really? Because I think this episode was right on par with the last episode, which have so far been big steps up from the first 2 episodes. I laughed numerous times, and I'm already laughing again as I watch it again. I really can't get over how good and hysterical this show is. The only sitcom I enjoy this much is BBT, and I'm starting to think this show is better. As traditional as it is, it's easily the funniest thing on TV right now, and a refreshing change to what comedy has become in today's TV landscape. It's a shame it's airing on TV Land, where success is limited. I would love to see a broadcast network pick up repurposing rights.

Was pretty good, and gave Valerie Bertinelli a chance to shine, and she,Betty White(especially in the scenes she had:where she dyed her hair bright red, with that British girl on the show who showed her to just be herself, and at the end,in the scene with Carl Reiner who was also great, where she was REALLY glamorous.)and the rest of the girls were great. And there was more than a passing resemblance to "The Golden Girls"in this episode,in the scene where ,as in "The Golden Girls"when Rose, under her breath said about Dorothy"I Don't Like You",Elga(I think that's Betty White's character's name)was a bit reluctant about having the British girl who always insulted her ,working on her attire..And it was a bit bawdy and funny(sort of)when their next-door neighbor came on to Valie Bertenelli's character-in a totally unexpected way.My ranking:7.5/10 good-to-very good

Jane Leeves plays Joy (the British girl).

The episode was good. It was funny when Joy asked Elka (Betty's character) "if she showed her stylist a picture of Elmo."

Was a good one-with guest stars Hal Linden(Yes,that WAS Hal Linden-with a veddy British accent-At the end,his scene with Betty White was great)and Juliet Mills, who as Joy's mother, who didn't like her-and made a friend of Elka.

Was funny again.Betty White,Carl Reiner and Tim Conway, were great as always,as were the girls, but in this one,Valerie Bertinelli shone again. And Joy was less acerbic as she was.It was funny at the end, when at the restaraunt,Valerie Bertinelli's character (I forgot her name, what is it?)using butter to get a stuck ring off her finger,it came off,and a handsome policeman got it,the other girl(not Joy-what's her name?)tried it,got a handsome hunk of a man,and then Joy did it--disbelieving,--only to get Elka.Rating-8 Very Good

I had to look up what acerbic meant. It means sour, bitter, etc.

Valerie's character is named Melanie
Wendie's character is named Victoria
Jane's character is named Joy.

Was the season finale, and started out okay,UNTIL the end, when Elka got arrested. There it was disappointing, because I thought it would be something different. The ending made it sound like a "to be continued"episode of a soap opera.
