Default Marathons, Do You Watch Them?

At first they seemed like a great idea; a whole day long block of your favorite program! But for me at least, I have a hard time watching the same show for hour after hour, even if it's a favorite. It's like I need to watch something else to put the show into perspective. If I watch the same show for too long it's a case of burn out for me.

Anyone else?

For me, I guess it would depend on the show!!

One or two shows at a time is enough for me. Even if it is a 2 part show I might watch one episode on saturday and watch the next episode on sunday or even wait until the next saturday to watch it.

It definitely depends on the show. A couple of shows I would have no problem watching in a marathon: The Golden Girls, I Love Lucy, The Nanny, and The Facts of Life.

It depends on the show. I love the Family Matters marathons. I never get tired of watching them.

It depends on how much I watch the show or if it is a show that I like. I remember back in 2003 when Oxygen and Nick at Nite got syndication rights to Roseanne they had a couple of marathons and I watched them because I hadn't seen Roseanne in years. I do tune into marathons here and there if they show my favorite episodes of that show.

Depends.

Sometimes I get a dvd of a show, with several episodes, and I'm itching for it to finish. But sometimes I enjoy getting into the head of the characters.

The only marathons I have a problem with are the ones that repeat the eps from 6pm to 12mid that were shown during 12pm to 6pm

If I haven't seen a show for awhile, I might watch it for hours on end. One example being, WPIX's annual Honeymooner's blowout. Other than that, I rarely watch more than 2 episodes of one show at a time.

It depends on the show. Ususally if i like the show i can watch multiple episodes and not get sick of it. I love watching the Law & Order marathons on TNT; and TNT used to run great E.R. marathons but they don't air E.R. anymore.

Certain shows like The Golden Girls i've seen so many times that i just can't watch them anymore.
