Default Mr. Mondello?

Do we ever meet Mr. Mondello, Larry's father? Its odd whenever we see Mrs. Mondello, she's always fretting about Larry getting into trouble when his father is away. We're the Mondellos separated?

They way I understand it Mr. Mondello's job took him out of town regularly. I don't believe he and Mrs. Mondello were separated.

He was in one episode, but I don't remember which one. Was it something about the boys being in a play?

Yes, it was. He was just seen in the background talking to Larry in the backstage area of the second season episode "School Play".

...and poor Mrs. Mondello. She always seemed like she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown dealing with Larry and his older sister!

The Mondellos were disfunctional before that word was coined. A dad who was always away on 'business'. An obsessive compulsive worrier mother. A slutty daughter. And a son who had an oral fixation. Sounds like they needed family therapy.

LOL! If she was a slut why couldn't she find herself a husband as Mrs. Mondello continued to fret about? They were disfunctional for sure though....I think Mr. mondello had a secret family in Cincinnati because the man never went anywhere else but there....

I just noticed it today but Mr. Mondello make one appearance on the show. In the episode from the second season about the school play where Beaver plays a bird, backstage after the play Larry is talking to his dad, but you only see him from the back though.
