I am new here, and this has probably already been covered. When the opening song and credits roll, it shows Raj come out of the house. The front view of the house seems a lot different than in the episodes. I watched the one where Dee had her first date, and it looks as if there is a wooden fence very close across from the entrance of the house.

Anyone else seen this?

I have noticed that myself. Did you know that the interior set was the same set used in Sanford & Son?

I find this to be a very interesting tidbit! As far as I know, Sanford and Son was originally shown on NBC. What's Happening!! on the other hand was on ABC. I wonder how shows on two riveling networks were able to share a set! Any thoughts anyone?

Now, I am not an expert as far as sets and networks go. From what I can tell the interior of the houses for both Sanford & Son and What's Happening! look the same. I will say that in Sanford & Son, there was a window over the steps leading upstairs, right? Also, the front doors for both houses are different. That shouldn't be hard to switch out though.

By the way, when Whats' Happening! came on back in the day, which night did it come and what time? I was born in 1974, so I wouldn't know.
