Default Will Lucy Season 2 be in Stores?

Well, just a little over a week away for the release of The Lucy Show The Official Second Season. I haven't pre-ordered, because I'm banking on this one to be in stores, although season 3 of Here's Lucy was not.

What's maddening is Here's Lucy seasons 1 and 2 are readily available in my area but nobody is carrying season 3. I'll probably wait until The Mothers-In-Law gets released and buy it along with Here's Lucy season 3 and The Lucy Show season 2 on line.

Will be pre-ordering online and using two day shipping, so that it will be here the day it is released in stores

The MIL presale price on Amazon today is a great price, don't want to miss that one if you intend to purchase. $18.99 for the entire 2 season set!

I was wondering the same thing. I am going to wait to see if WalMart carries it. They did carry Season 1. If not I will order it online.

I'm thinking it will definitely be in stores, and not just at Best Buy and Barnes and Noble stores, but also at Target! Reason I think this is that Lucy is big and Target had season 1 of The Lucy Show. I bought it there shortly after it was released for only $19.99, a ten dollar savings over Best Buy.

I also pre-ordered the MIL from Amazon--that is too good a price to pass up!

I checked with Target and they will have it at their stores. So that means Wal-Mart will more than likely carry it too!

I can confirm that Walmart should be carrying The Lucy Show Season 2 in its stores. I was just at my local store, and they had a space on the shelf for it but no copies available yet. The price was $29.98 on the tag. We do not have a Target in our town, but we have a Best Buy which stinks big time. The $29.98 price seems high for this release, especially when I am sure I spent $19.98 on Season One. I'll be close to a Target this weekend, if someone can post the price at the store when they get it that will help me decide what to do and where to buy it.

Glad to know its in stores! As far as that 19.98, I really don't think it was at that price when it first hit the shelves. When and where did you purchase it? (Season 1)

I actually bought it the day before the release date last summer at the same Walmart. I thought it was $19.98 when it came out, but I could be thinking of another release. The Three Stooges sets cost that, and that could be what I am thinking of. Just trying to save a buck where I can!

No, you're absolutely right Benno123. When Season 1 came out, Target did have it for only $19.99. I remember seeing it after I bought it at Best Buy for $10 more.

This time around, Target has it for $29.99. I just bought my copy there. They only had 2 on the shelf. So, hopefully, this is a big seller.

I was going to wait until this weekend and check a Target that I will be close to, but couldn't wait ... I had to see The Lucille Ball Comedy Hour. I'm happy to report that I bought Season Two, and it was the only copy that was left on the floor at the Walmart closest to me. The girl who was working behind the counter in the department saw what I had and said it was good I got it because it's been a hot seller today! I think that is fantastic news, especially for the town that I live in!
