It is creepy - OJ's first wife was black, and he cheated on her with an attractive blond woman...talk about life imitating art!!! Liz was still alive in 1994 and early 1995 when the double murder happened...I wonder what SHE must have thought.

The scene where OJ's wife slaps him across the face is actually kind of funny.

It is - and very well deserved!! That's the late, great Rosalind Cash playing OJ's wife - and a pre-Diff'rent Strokes Todd Bridges plays their son.

Ironic on several levels, isn't it?

Besides the 'taboo' of interracial affairs, O.J. was also quite a bit younger than Liz. I think he's like 61 years old now and if Liz had lived she'd have been 77. Incredible how well she held her age.

And the "the ax is gonna fall" line is kind of creepy to hear.

I thought the same thing about that "ax" line!! Plus, let us not forget that Liz had previously played Lizzie Borden - so there's additional irony there.

Birthdates:

Elizabeth Victoria Montgomery - April 15, 1933 (died May 18, 1995)
Orenthal James Simpson - July 9, 1947

One more thing - speaking of OJ as a cop, THIS has to be his definitive scene. Too bad art hasn't imitated life because I think this would be a GREAT punishment!!!! *evil laugh*

So do I. A classmate of mine went to see 33 1/3 in June 1994 at the dollar theater. This is JUST when the OJ media circus began. He said that when OJ first came into the movie, everyone in the room booed. Classic.

Funny thing is how many actually good movies O.J. was in. He may have been, well, O.J. in his personal life, but he must have had a good agent or something.

One of the user comments on imdb used "OJ is Bewitched" as the title line for his/her review. Yet another ironic thing about A Killing Affair is that OJ's character has the last name of York - same as the man who first played Liz's husband on the iconic sitcom.

Here's a pic of O.J. from what I believe was his first acting credit, as an extra in the 1960's version of "Dragnet". I think the episode aired in 1968.
