They probably didnt mention Dick Clark's other show Where The Action Is.

Just the same this is long overdue.

Now lets give something like this to Jimmy O'Neil.

It IS long overdue. Here is the tribute in its entirety, with artists such as Cher, Donny Osmond, Garth Brooks, and Barry Manilow giving prerecorded tributes. Then you have Marie Osmond, Chubby Checker, The Spinners and Tony Orlando (I THINK that guy with the mustache is Tony Orlando) singing "Bandstand Boogie"!

It was good but was way too long, especially since the 2nd longest running show in history got the shaft tribute wise

I do agree that the ATWT tribute was WAY too short with a serious shortage of vintage clips. But instead of taking away from Dick Clark - they should've cut the Blue Man Group and the Lion King cast from the show. That would've freed up some time and maybe the soap would've had a decent moment in the sun.

Speaking of which, did ANYONE mention the name of ATWT's matriarch, Helen Wagner, who recently passed away? I missed the first hour of the show or so. Something tells me no one mentioned her, and if that's the case, I wouldn't be surprised.
