Katie Cassidy Joins the Cast of 'Gossip Girl'
Fresh from the debacle that was the reboot of Melrose Place, Katie Cassidy is moving from L.A. hi-jinks to Upper East Side escandalos, and joining the cast of Gossip Girl as a Columbia student and love interest for fellow matriculant Chase Crawford. According to Entertainment Weekly’s source, her character “will make trouble,” but “is not what she appears,” and will “wear outfits that show off her boobs.” Actually that last one isn’t a direct quote, but more like an educated guess
