Disappointing Fred Sanford Moment involving Aunt Esther - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

This was a episode from the last season when Fred said something insulting to Esther and then she swung her pocket book and hit him in back of the head causing him to lose his memory.

How come they couldn't have Fred avoid the swing and put up his hands ready to fight?-lol Just seeing him holding his head in pain while Esther is saying I'm sorry Fred is the TRUE JUMP THE SHARK MOMENT FOR ME

I'd have to watch the ep again, but if I recall correctly, Esther hit him on the back of the head, yet he wore a bandage on the front of his head. I thought that was a little silly, or just another one of those continuity errors.
