Clerk shoots, kills suspected robber - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

MONROE, N.C. A clerk took action to stop a suspected robber this morning. Police say a man tried to rob the Sunny Food convenience store off Highway 74 just before midnight. Investigators say two clerks were inside the store and both of them were armed. One of the clerks exchanged gun fire with the suspect and hit him. Medics took the suspect to the hospital where he later died. Police have not released his name. The store clerks were not hurt. Police are still investigating what happened in the store and figuring out who shot first.
