Default Celebrities and Characters in commercials

Can anybody remember commercials mostly from the '60's and '70's where celebrities played characters?
Some of them are just known for their commercial characters!

There was:

Rosie, the Bounty Paper Towel Lady (Nancy Walker) "Its the Quicker Pickerupper!"
Cora, for Maxwell House Coffee (Margaret Hamilton) "Good to the Last Drop"
The Maytag Repairman (Gordon Jump)
Mr. Whipple, for Charmin (Dick Wilson) "Don't Squeeze the Charmin"
Mother Nature, for Chiffon Margarine (Dena Dietrich) "Its not nice to fool Mother Nature!"
Josephine the Plumber, for Comet (Jane Withers)
Madge, for Palmolive, (Jan Miner)
Fred the Baker, for Dunkin' Donuts (Michael Vale)

Vivian Vance also did commercials for Maxwell House. I think her character was called Maxine.

Although they weren't name celebrities, I fondly remember the 'Ancient Chinese Secret' people from the Calgon commercial. That thing ran forever.

Martha Raye for Polident

There's a funny scene in The Golden Girls where Sophia walks in and tells Dorothy to check out her teeth, she just cleaned them.

Dorothy: Ma, I think you're getting Martha Raye confused with Madge, again!

Sophia: Oh, yeah right!

Yes but Frank was in character as Sam Drucker. I remember the ads from the late 70's but they may have started earlier.

Susan Lucci did a commerical for Ruinutie Wine in 1977. I know she also did a commercial for some sugar subsitutue sometime in the 1980's, i want to say it was equal, but it may have been sweet and low. She also did a FORD commerical in 1993.

in the 90's Sandy Duncan did a series of commericals for Wheat Thins.

Regarding Don Adams, as seen in a previous post: Large photos of Don were on the boxes of Aurora's series of toys that included all of the Skittle games, including "Skittle Bowling" and "Skittle Score Ball." There are likely more TV commercials out there from his Aurora spokesman era.

Other celebrities in commercial roles: Al Molinaro (Happy Days) played Christopher Columbus in a Raviolios commercial for Chef Boyardee.

Richard X. Slattery played "Murph" in the many Union 76 gasoline commercials (gas station owner character)

Jonathan Winters played a character for Hefty trash bags in many commercials for that company
