I just watched the NBC version of the Patrick Michael Mitchell segment, and RS profiled several other bank robbers. I was wondering if these profiles made it to lifetime.
-jockey bandit: bank robber with a small stature, has robbed 20 banks near racetracks in Florida. -Mr. Nasty: has robbed 15 banks in Dade County, Florida, and is known for pointing guns directly at bank tellers while shouting and swearing at them. -Mary Poppins bandit: middle aged looking woman has robbed 4 banks in Colorado. Got her nickname for her style of dress and tendency to appear and disappear very quickly. I did a google search to see if i could find out anything more about these bandits, but nothing came up. |

Those don't sound familiar so I'm guessing its another one of those Special Alert type clips that Lifetime didn't bother to air. Probably trying to make room for more commercials or perhaps the Patrick Michael Mitchell update. They sound interesting.

I have the NBC and Lifetime cuts of that episode (1/16/91) and the additional robbers are not on the Lifetime version. Probably cut for timing reasons, or because it would be a pain in the butt to update each story individually as they were solved.
If there were ever any "quickie" profiles after a main story, it seems as though they seldom made it to Lifetime. I can think of maybe two exceptions. |
