Vanessa Carlton Comes Out as "Proud Bisexual Woman"
Vanessa Carlton Admits She Is Bisexual
Written by: Karen Benardello June 22, 2010 In the midst of her set at the Nashville Pride concert on June 19, Vanessa Carlton surprised the crowd of 18,000 by announcing that she’s bisexual, Popeater.com is reporting. “I’ve never said this before, but I am a proud bisexual woman,” the ‘Thousand Miles’ singer announced on stage. Carlton headlined the 22nd annual event, which aims to celebrate the “gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community in Middle Tennessee,” according to its website, http://nashville.metromix.com. While Carlton didn’t say she was involved with anyone right now, she has dated John Mayer and Third Eye Blind singer Stephen Jenkins in the past. The news comes in wake of Anna Paquin’s admission that she is also bisexual.
