It's neat that Almanzo was from Malone, NY. My great-grandfather was born & raised there and was close to Laura's age.

I noticed the Closed Captioned logo at the beginning of the promo. I believe
the 1980-81 television season was the first season network television began
utilizing Closed Captioning for the hearing impaired.

Thanks for the link Monika! It was nice seeing that. I was around in 1980 but I was too young to appreciate stuff like this being that I was three years old and all. LOL.

I know what you mean, Thomas. I was 1!!! It wasn't until the late 80s/early 90s that I started to love the show in syndication, and then watched the DVDs as an adult. It really is a timeless show!!

I'm really starting to feel old!! I was actually around to watch the show during it's original run starting in 1974! (I turned 10 that year)
