I only saw season 8 when Nick at Nite ran it 100 years ago. I liked it. Jeff's college adventures were a lot of fun. I liked his friend Smitty. But I missed Mary. And they could have given Trish more to do. She was like the Chris and Tracy Partridge of the show. Also, it would have been cool if season 8 would have been in living color.

I disagree season 8 looks great in glorious black and white.

Had Donna kept on, I'm sure the move to color would have happened. But Black & white certainly adds to the charm of the show

I know. But they showed the interior of the Stone's house in a couple of color episodes of 'Gidget' and it always made me wonder what 'The Donna Reed Show' would have been like in color.

Another thing I really liked about season 8 was the opening credits. When the rest of the family leaves for school and work, instead of Donna staying behind to do the breakfast dishes, she grabs her purse and leaves the house herself.
