Harry Potter Actress Conjures Up "Gossip Girl" Role

Here's some casting scoop that's as hot off the press as a crusty French baguette:

The Ausiello Files reports that Harry Potter actress Clemence Poesy will stay a spell with our Upper East Siders when "Gossip Girl" returns in the fall, as none other than Chuck Bass' new belle.


The French actress is best known in the Wizarding world as Fleur Delacour, but she's expected to wave her magic wand at everyone's favorite Basstard for a multiple episode arc, commencing with the Paris-set season premiere.






Poesy's character, Eva, is described as "a warm-hearted bombshell who joins Chuck (Ed Westwick) in Paris -- much to the surprise of Blair (Leighton Meester), who has been spending the summer there with Serena (Blake Lively)."

Sounds like trouble's afoot in the streets of Paris, especially considering where we last saw our favorite millionaire playboy: bleeding out in an Amsterdam alley!
