Cool

if i were prez, our new programming would be centered around talking cars and such. Back in my day, more toons had talking cars than talking animals, and it was A-OK.

id also though in some shmoo (flintstones capt caveman), maybe mork & mindy / happy days toons for something different, a little tenessee tuxedo and underdog, and a speed racer marathon
weekly!

perhaps we'd have a sunday block dedicated to video games that became toons, along with retromercials.

"PAC MAN!
pac man cereal, you can open wide,
and gobble up the ghost that are hiding inside of .... PAC MAN!"

The Powerpuff Girls and dexter would have to stay, perhaps each evening they would have their own hour, hosted by Dee Dee and Mojo Jojo.

We would develop some spin off programs from them, such as the Pony Puffs show, thar would be pretty right on.

I think I'd put Beany and Cecil on for a 1/2 an hour a day.

Of course, the inevitable would happen --- Law and Order Babies.
Heck, they've done everything else.
The most drastic thing I'd do is put that older christian cartoon Superbook on. I loved that one and it's great for kids and adults.

Our big acquisition would be Belle and Sebastian, which rocked totally. Havent seen that since the early days of nick.

For late night adult entertainment, I'd look into turning Grand Theft Auto into a cartoon - although im sure the music rights would kill us.
This is all just for starters of course.

I would definatley make more room for some of the "adult swim" animated programs. Plus, i would try to land some of the more recent Prime Time shows that are looking for a home, like "Family Guy" and "The Critic."

I would also do some documentaries devoted to classic animated creators and characters, perhaps a show with a host introducing and talking about cartoons, shades of "AMC." Also some behind the scenes looks into the making of some shows would be cool.
