Happy Father's day to my own father, who lived from 1902 until 1998. I had a friend who doesn't have a father. One of my grandchildren asked my how can I celebrate Father's Day if he didn't have a father?

My Dad has been on my mind and heavy in my heart all day. Gone eight years now, and it hurts as much today as it did the day we lost him. Peter Paul Connolly. A great husband and a terrific father. We never wanted for anything, as he was a great provider. He gave me childhood filled with love, and I have wonderful memories. Love and miss you Dad.

My Father died 26 years ago (colon cancer) and in the last few months of his life he was working overtime to provide for the family.

In honor and in memory of my Father, I celebrate all of the phenomenal men who are Fathers. Blessings upon you.
