Friday Night Lights Lures Back Adrianne Palicki (Tyra) and Taylor Kitsch (Tim)
Two more Friday Night Lights all-stars are headed back to Dillon for the show’s probable endgame: Sources confirm to me exclusively that Adrianne Palicki (Tyra) and Taylor Kitsch (Tim) have finalized deals to appear in multiple episodes of the drama’s fifth and likely final season (slated to premiere on DirecTV next fall).
I’m told Palicki will guest in next season’s last two episodes, while Kitsch has signed on for the final four. The news follows my earlier scoop that another original Panther, Zach Gilford (Matt), is returning for four episodes (including the finale). Gilford’s onscreen BFF, Jesse Plemons, is also in talks to appear in the swan song.
