http://www.fox8.com/news/wjw-model-s...0,361563.story
FOX8.com Staff Writer 9:17 PM EDT, June 10, 2010 A Russian model is suing an airline over her damaged breast implants. According to The Sun Newspaper, 29-year-old Iren Ferrari says she was thrown into the seat in front of her during turbulence on a flight from Moscow to Zurich. Ferrari, who claims to have a 44J bust, told The Sun the impact burst her implants. "It was a strong blow. I hit my left breast. I was in pain," the model said. Her lawyer says the Swiss airline should pay to replace her implants, saying, "The space between the seats was too tight for her breasts." |

Just when I thought I'd heard it all along comes this story! I guess with breast implants getting ever larger this was bound to happen eventually. I know people have been complaining for years about not having enough leg room on airplanes but this is the first time I've heard a complaint about not enough breast room!

I know all about no leg room - it's torture being on a cross-country flight with legs as long as mine!! But this?? 44J???? How is she able to stand up without tipping over forwards??

The best thing that lady could do is take those implants out of her. I'm no doctor but it doesn't take a genius to understand that placing silicon sacks underneath your skin and stretching the skin out to accomodate them is bound to lead to trouble. The contents of the sacks could be harmful to your blood, the skin itself could easily be torn, etc.
I'm certainly in favor of women (and everyone) having the right to improve their appearance but personally I don't think it's worth the risk having these huge implants put in. I sympathize with the woman who was injured but I hope this is a wake up call for her. I mean, seriously, who NEEDS a "J" cup bust??

And since when is it the airlines responsibility to provide enough space for such large implants? I think the judge will find her claims very...er...inflated!

Woman: Is this a bust or what? Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen): Yes, it's very impressive, but that's not important right now.

There are probably more than a few folks out there who didn't even know that they went up to "J"s

^ And (not being an expert by any means) I understand that NATURALLY large busted women have back pain issues associated with their chests...can you imagine what women who have such large implants endure, assuming they weigh more?

I don't understand it, either. I remember years ago, when Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster) hit puberty, she developed VERY fast. It got so unbearable for her that she had to undergo a breast reduction surgery as a young teenager. I wouldn't want to undergo implants of any kind - to me, the risks far outweigh the benefits.

Heh. I really doubt she's a 44J. Bras go by ribcage size (add 2 to get band size) + cup size. For her to wear a 44 band, she'd have to be pretty fat. My ribcage under my boobs is 34", so I can wear size 36-band bras.
I am naturally about a size 36L, so I've already passed the J cup size ages ago. They're not OMGHUGE, like you guys might envision. And yes I am gonna have a reduction surgery - next month, in fact. I can't imagine anyone wanting boobs that big. You can't find anything over a DDD cup in stores, F cups in specialty or department stores. I'm paying $60+ for *ONE* bra that always causes me pain. Model is ****in' nuts. |
