TV First Photo of John Stamos on "Glee"

TV Casting: John Stamos Eyes "Glee" Role
by Andrew Scott
posted Jun 8th 2010

According to an exclusive report from the Ausiello Files, "Full House" alum John Stamos is in talks to become the latest guest star on the award-winning mega-hit "Glee".

If all goes well, he'd play Emma's (Jayma Mays) dentist, whom she is dating.

Stamos recently appeared on Broadway as the lead in 'Bye Bye Birdie'.

Cool

Maybe they could turn this into a reunion gig for "Jessie and the Rippers"!

John Stamos' Appearance on Season Two of "Glee" Confirmed
Wed, 09 June 2010

John Stamos will indeed make an appearance on the second season of musical comedy series "Glee". Confirming the casting news was executive producer Brad Falchuk as telling E! News, "It's true."

Although coming out with the confirmation, the TV producer kept the air of mystery on details. "Not sure how many episodes yet," he simply stated.

While Falchuk remained mum on the details, Entertainment Weekly suggested that the former husband of Rebecca Romijn is likely to take on the role of Emma's dentist.

Should the rumor is proven true, he will be the rival of Mr. Schuester, which was played by Matthew Morrison, since Jayma Mays' Emma says she's been dating her dentist in season one finale.

Keck's Exclusives: John Stamos' Smile Lights Up "Glee" — First Look Photo
Sept 6, 2010
by William Keck

This won't hurt a bit, Mr. Schuester. Actually, it might — a lot.

But it's Will's heart, not his teeth, that is most in jeopardy when John Stamos joins "Glee" in Season 2's second episode as Emma's dentist beau, Dr. Carl Howell.

"Just when Will thinks he'll win Emma because he can sing and dance, we find out Carl used to be in an '80s boy band," reveals John, who'll likely sport a mullet for flashbacks.

"I discover Will's chewing his teeth, so the other day I had, like, four fingers in Matthew Morrison's mouth."

Carl will also be administering anesthesia to hygienically challenged students Rachel, Artie, Brittany and Santana, inspiring a dreamy sequence that will take them into the world of Britney Spears.

"Poor Brittany has cavities in every tooth," says John, who will also appear in the Rocky Horror Picture Show — themed Halloween episode.

"I can't tell you what character I'm playing, but I will be singing," he promises.
