1)Bernard Fox did you like better?The stuffy Osgood Rightmire in a black and white Dick York as Darrin episode or the somewhat irritable Dr.Bombay ? 2)the late Paul Lynde as Harold Harold ,Samantha's driving teacher in the first season black and white Dick York as Darrin episode "Driving is the Only Way to Fly"or Uncle Arthur? 3)The late Alice Ghostley as Naomi the maid (whom even Darrin(Dick York)liked,in second season's black and white episode "Maid to Order"or,in the Dick Sargent as Darrin years,as Esmeralda?My choices:I really didn't care for Osgood Rightmire or Dr.Bombay,Uncle Arthur was okay,but I liked Harold Harold a little better(Darrin liked him,too),and I liked Naomi .

Oh, definitely the later characters for me - Dr. Bombay, Uncle Arthur, etc.

Osgood Rightmire was funny & a nice foil for Samantha but Dr.Bombay was the Bomb, he was great & hystertical, a brilliant addition to the cast in my view.
He always made each of his episodes very special.

Paul Lynde was funny & more low key & calmer as Harold, he was very good, but he could not compare to Uncle Arthur who was just amazingly funny & scene for scene was among the most important cast members with as great an impact on a scene any one short of Liz herself.

I actually liked Alice Ghostly more as Naomi, very sweet & like able, you really rooted for her and wanted the best outcome she could have.

Esmeralda was a nice addition but Naomi was better in my view.

I liked the later characters, though Maid to Order is one of my favorite episodes.

I like anything that Alice Ghostley does. She could sit and read the phone book for a half hour and still make it entertaining.

She was an extremely gifted comedienne, as she so grandly showcased as Bernice on Designing Women. I also enjoyed her spot as the auto shop teacher in Grease.
