Hi.
Back in 1993, I saw the episode, Old Spouses Never Die for the first time on the local Fox channel in Salem, Oregon. I thought that Julia's speech to the doctor about Charlene's cancer was fabulous. I especially liked the last few lines of where she tells him that he doesn't have to do the "dying of the women." When I saw this back in 1993, I noticed that she said those last few lines with such feeling and forcefulness. A few years later in 1996, when I saw it on Lifetime, the take in which she said those last few lines was redone. She said it a little more quieter. Finally, when the first season came out on dvd, I rented it and found that the take used on the Lifetime version was used. It's interesting why she made 2 takes of those last few lines. It starts when she says: "You're seemingly a kind, benevelint, authority figure, who tells women to let you do their worrying for them." If anyone out there happens to know about the takeI I am talking about back in 1993, and has it, could you please upload it to to YouTube sometime? I would like to hear that. Please let me know. Thank you very much. Rob Bendtzen |

I thought I was the only one who noticed that and thought I had imagined it. Glad to see I'm not crazy! Ed |

There's also two different ending credits for "101 Ways to Decorate a Gas Station." One shows the cast posing for a picture with Eldon, the other is of Eldon walking around his redecorated digs!
