Exclamation 'American Dad' To Be Fined Over Ejaculating Horse Episode

Executives at Fox network have been threatened with a $25,000 fine for failing to respond to a TV regulator's enquiry into 100,000 complaints over an episode of American Dad.

America's media watchdog, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), was flooded with grievances from angry viewers who were offended by an episode of Seth MacFarlane's animated comedy in January, which depicted a horse ejaculating. FCC chiefs claim Fox bosses have repeatedly failed to respond to an enquiry into the program, and have threatened the station with a huge penalty.

However, a spokesperson for the network insists executives are baffled by the action due to "the fact that we responded to all of the questions related to the substance" of the investigation.

The network has now vowed to "respond in greater detail to the Commission in due course."

People annoy me.

They see something on TV they don't like, so they complain about it. I guess I'm not as easily offended as so, so, so many others. Even if I was, i wouldn't call or write letters complaining. It's TV. It's not like these shows are for kids anyways. They're adult cartoons!

We have a whole show about a horse that can talk. Why not have a few seconds in a show of a horse ejaculating? lol

All this does is bring attention to the show. If they end up paying $25,000, it's money well spent. Controversy = Ratings.

True. That's what made "Married with Children" a huge hit for FOX. A woman complained and the ratings shot up.

There's an old saying: "There's no such thing as bad publicity."

Which are two more reasons I have lost all respect for the mainstream media. They failed to make the complaining woman (gee, where's the National Organization for Women? Hmm?) the victim and had compassion for FOX having to pay a fine ... a little one, at that!

When the band KISS was being accused of being satanists (the band's name stood for Knights (or Kids) In Satan's Service, religious protestors claimed), Gene $immons said something to the effect that the more they protest our shows, the more our attendance goes up.

Gene very articulately dismissed the protestors and showed that there's no such thing as bad publicity.
