Two weeks after getting dropped by CBS, The New Adventures of Old Christine has been rejected again.
Sources confirm that the sitcom will not be moving to ABC — or anywhere else for that matter. Warner Bros. TV, which owns the Julia Louis-Dreyfus vehicle, officially pulled the plug on Wednesday after talks with ABC broke down. Translation: The May 12 season finale was actually a series finale. Last week, ABC also passed on a chance to rescue Ghost Whisperer from CBS’ scrap heap. http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/06/...%27s+Latest%29 |

All this time ABC kept saying they wanted "Christine." Now when CBS is done with it, where's ABC? ABC should never have shown any interest in the series if they had no intentions of picking it up.
This was a show I thought for sure would get another season BECAUSE of ABC's talking about wanting it. I figured that if CBS cancelled it, ABC would pick it up. Same thing happened with "Earl". FOX said they wanted it and when NBC cancelled it, all of a sudden they didn't want it anymore. |

That's a shame that it has been canceled. It was a good show.
