Hey Danaforever, just wondering if you have seen the 80's movie High School USA. Because that pic of Dana is from a scene from the movie. I posted a similar thread in the Chit Chat board around Thanksgiving b/c that's when I got the movie. Its a pretty cool movie its stars Michael J. Fox, Nancy Mckeon, Todd Bridges, Dana Plato, and many more. Well, thought I would just let you know.

I wouldn't say she's one of the main characters but she's definately in the most part of the movie, well kinda of. It was made in 83, and I think it was made just to combine all of the teen stars of the day into this one film. Frankly, I'm glad that there is a movie like this that exists. Michael J. Fox is pretty cool in the movie. It's really funny and it's awesome imo because Dana is in it. She plays one of the popular people (in High school) and is Nancy Mckeon's friend in the movie. It's a cool cheesy teen 80's flick, I think it's worthy seeing.

Hey have you seen the ep. Happy Birthday Drummond? I put that on one of my top favorite episodes, only because I was always pondering how Kimberly meets the family again after being in Paris (but we all know that the buttholes in NBC kicked her out!). I was just as happy and excited as Mr. D was when Sam introduced her as a surprise for his birthday. So I thought it was a pretty cool ep. And it also discusses how Arnold and Willis decide to change their last name which is cool too.

Anyways, nice to know that there are people out there who loved Dana. Personally, I have never been affected so much by a celebrity death. But she really did touch my heart and still does to this day. Even when I'm an old man I don't think I'll ever forget who Dana Plato was.

Thanks Curtis. I'll definitely check it out then. It sounds like I'd like it. I did see the episode "Happy Birthday Drummond." I did enjoy it because Kimberly was in it and had come back from Paris. I hated that NBC kicked her off. Since she had Tyler in July, it seems like she could have easily come back in the next season. I completely agree with not ever being affected by another celebrity's death. I had never been so affected either, and personally, I feel weird caring about someone I never met. I think Dana was a really warm and special person who didn't deserve to die the way she did.
