Mario Lopez Planning TV Show About Fatherhood

Former Saved By The Bell star Mario Lopez is hoping to become a reality TV dad-to-be.

The actor-turned-TV-personality will document his trials and tribulations as a first-time dad in a new series. Lopez is expecting a baby with his girlfriend Courtney Mazza later this year and he reveals he's already working on a TV proposal.

He tells People.com, "It follows me through juggling everything and wanting to learn. There's so much out there for women but not so much for men, and I want to be a very hands-on dad. I think having a humorous but informative way to tell that story would be great for a show."

However, that's not all Lopez has planned - he's also eager to write a book about becoming a daddy: "(It will be) a book women could get for their guys to be prepared for fatherhood."
