I like the first season because I'm a fan of Linda Purl.
However, I think the series had its best chemistry later, when both Michelle (Nancy Stafford) and Conrad (Clarence Gilyard Jr.) appeared. Another plus later on was Julie Sommars and the various guest appearances by former Andy Griffith Show stars. |

Best season IMO was season seven. I thought Brynn Thayer and Daniel Roebuck worked best with Andy. It's the season that got me into the show as well.

The Final few seasons were my favorite. Daniel Roebuck and Brynn Thayer worked really well with Andy. I do enjoy the early episodes to though

I prefer the seasons with Michelle, Conrad, and Julie.
Michelle and Ben have such a sweet relationship. They seem far more father/daughter than he does with any of his actual daughters. |
