who here remembers this? I forget what it was called, and I think it was an hour. The only part of the premise I remember is that Dobie was married to-I think-Sheila, they now owned his parents supermarket, and they had a teenage son who worked in it with them I remember, in the show that aired (I don't know if it was an unsold pilot or not. Probably, because I remember CBS showed it once during the summer-and back then the networks showed 99% reruns in the summer) Maynard came to visit.
And yes, Dwayne Hickman, Shelia James and Bob Denver all reprised their roles. Who else remembers this? It aired about 1978, I remember. |

I was finally able to snag a copy of this!!! It was funny...a little over the top in the silliness, but it is Dobie Gillis afterall. I enjoyed it. I was glad it was only 24 minutes long though; not sure I could have handled a full-length movie of this!
